I was a bit surprised to see that Myrtle Beach was getting a Carlos'n Charlie's since the main owner also owns Senor Frogs which is also located in Broadway, but we now have one no matter. Let me get right out of the gate and say that the prices at Carlos'n Charlie's are steep, they are even high for Broadway standards. I mean, come on, 4 bucks for a Bud Lt draft, 9 for poppers? That's a bit much in my opinion. The huge saving grace for me personally is Miller High Life on tap for only $2. You may think I'm crazy, but I love the High Life and this is the only place I've ever seen it on tap down here. Besides that, this place used to be Unos Chicago Grill (which is the site of my very first review coincidentally) as they bar area remains the same, but they have opened the dining room up a bit. It is turned into a club later at night. The staff tries to keep everyone involved throughout the day and it is a fun atmosphere. The Happy Hour deals are good for the things that do get a discount like the house liquor, margaritas, and mojitos. The two for one on apps is nice too especially if you have a group of people. Carlos'n Charlies is definitely not going to be a favorite amongst some locals, but that's not the crowd they're aiming for, but it still is a fun experience and is worth a another viable option at Broadway.
