Cooter's Backyard Bar & Grill

Cooter's Backyard Bar & Grill is a solid new addition to Murrells Inlet in front of the defunct Inlet Square Mall. It is a converted Texas Roadhouse which you can still sorta sense when you walk inside. The thing that sets Cooter's apart from a converted chain restaurant is their massive 2 story deck/patio. It looks like a great place to go get a drink when the weather isn't too hot or cold. The menu is refreshing with a new spin of some old favorites that you'll find at a lot of other places, like instead of mozzarella cheese sticks, they have a more unique bleu cheese and monterey blend. Cooter's seems to have a good local following large waves of people usually come in on most visits. The prices are pretty low at Cooter's and thus may explain the lack of Happy Hour on some items like. I'd tell you to go check out Cooter's if you live on the south end, but I'm betting many of you already have.
