For the longest time I was intrigued as to what was going into the location of the old City Bar along N Kings Hwy in Myrtle. City Bar had been one of my favorite places for Happy Hour, but it started to regress and then closed. It took quite some time for a new place to pop up, but a Russian bar called Pravda Bar & Lounge opened up in the summer. After going a few times I could tell Pravda was geared more towards a late night crowd, but it still is going to try to offer some really good deals for Happy Hour. The menu is all tapas style and it offers some authentic Russian fare and for only $5 it is well worth it if you haven't tried it before. If you're not as daring there are some of the traditional staples for $5 as well. If you're Russian, obviously this is a place you'll want to check out, but non-Russians should give Pravda Bar a try out the place since the owners and staff are friendly and it has the potential to be a solid spot on the beach.
