Review

The North Myrtle Beach Bowling Center was like any other old bowling alley. There really was not much to it as it was getting fairly outdated and did not have too many amenities. It had finally closed down in 2014 for several months and got new owners. The new ownership did not want to open up just a regular bowling alley in its place; they wanted to modify it with a modern vision and that is what they have produced with 710 North Myrtle. The bowling lanes remain, but there are fewer lanes than previously and have all been refinished. There is now a large area that includes a plethora of games such as table tennis, pool, shuffleboard, foosball, air hockey and even two full size bocce/cornhole courts that are mostly all free to use. There is a large dining area to the right when you walk in and 710 does not serve the usual bowling area grub. There are some great items to choose from such as sliders with braised short rib, duck fat fries, and full entrees like lamb chops. The bar plays a main part too as it is not secluded like many other bowling alley bars and the 16 beers on tap along with a nice selection of other craft beers make for another solid addition. The Happy Hour at 710 is solid with it going on every day until 8pm. You can find 50 cents to a dollar off on most drinks and an ok deal on most apps and flatbreads. 710 North Myrtle Beach is unlike anything you might find along the Grand Strand with its wide array of gaming, really good food and solid beer selection, making it a new place you will want to check out in the North Myrtle Beach area.
