There always has been a feeling that there was a lack of actual restaurants that were oceanfront along the Grand Strand. There are several restaurants within the high rise resorts, but the stand alone places are few and far between. That is why when word that Bandito's was opening along Ocean Boulevard, it got a good amount of press in the weeks leading up to its opening. I have had a chance to go a handful of times to check it out and the place looks great and you cannot deny the view the place has. Bandito's has has a pretty good Happy Hour as it seems to expand every time I visit. The food specials are the most recent addition with many of the drink specials available during football season too. Speaking of the food it is pretty good from some of the small things I have had so far and it does have some unique items on the menu. The wall of different tequilas is rather impressive and is worth a visit if that's your drink. Bandito's is a nice new spot even if it weren't oceanfront, but if you have not been yet, then that should just add to the reasons to try this place out.
