If you have lived in the Grand Strand for any amount of time you already know how hard it is for a new bar to open up and be able to succeed, but Bourbon Street Bar & Grill has been able to catch that little bit of magic in recent years..This place is a little bit hard to find at first as it is in a plaza next to Pine Lakes Tavern, but it is worth seeking out if you like going to new places. It used to be on the smallish side, but an expansion has opened it up a bit more. Happy Hour crowds are more local business people, but the crowd gets a bit younger later in the night with some live music. The Happy Hour menu is really good and you can get some decent deals from it. The drink deals are pretty good with the slash on the house liquor being the best. If you want to find a nice laid back atmosphere in a bar with a different feel than most other places then I'd suggest the Bourbon Street Bar & Grill would be the spot you should venture to for happy Hour and also late at night to hear some of their great bands.
