I think it is safe to say that Dog House Donny's Saloon cannot be defined as a tourist trap. Located off of 3rd Ave S near one of the not so nicest places of Myrtle Beach, this locals bar sees a variety of crowds throughout the day and night. Donny's is mostly known for staying open to the wee hours of the night and sometimes the early morning. You will find several members of the service industry there when they get off work and relaxing. There is also decent sized crowd during Happy Hour enjoying the half of discount on house liquors and cheap beer prices. The food at Donny's is Foku's Japanese Express, so it is not just your basic bar food either. While Donny's Saloon may not the first bar that may come to mind, it still a good local hangout where you can meet some nice people and throw back a few drinks.
