When I heard that Divine Prime in the Market Common was rebranding itself as DP Wine & Tapas I immediately thought of a former Diving Ding Group Restaurant called City Bar. I figured this would be a reincarnation of that place since it was wildly successful for a stretch and also very highly rated on this website. While City Bar and DP Wine & Tapas do have some similarities, DP does have a personality of its own. Jest being in Market Common gives a different feel to the place that has a smallish bar and a couple of bar tables. What did carry over from City Bar was the very good food and decent little Happy Hour. You can get wines by the glass, featured martinis and cocktails half off along with buy 1 get 1 halff off apps. This is some great food and find me any other place where you can get Pork Belly or Tofu Agedashi for $3.50. I suggest you get to DP Wine & Tapas as soon as you can if you want to try out a new high end Happy Hour along the Grand Strand.
