There are bars that locals frequent in Myrtle Beach and then there are flat out local bars and Drifters Saloon seems to be one of them. Drifters is a very long and skinny Cleveland bar, so you might want to stay away during football season if the Browns are playing your team. The Happy Hour specials are nothing too great with only a quarter or fifty cents off on most drinks, but there prices are quite low as is so it is not like you're getting ripped off. The prices on the food is probably the best feature as about 95% of the menu is below 6 bucks. If you are new in town and are looking for a new local bar then you might want to check out Drifters Saloon, it may just remind you of your bar back home.
