It seems like every place you travel to or live there is some sort of generic Mexican restaurant that seems to always have a very similar restaurant. For the most part El Patio along Hwy 501 in Conway follows that trend, but what sets it apart from other Mexican places is the unique Happy Hour. The bar that is set apart from the restaurant side is called the Acapulco Bar, but most people still refer to it as El Patio. Often times during Happy Hour, there will not be a true bartender as a waiter or waitress that is working tables all throughout the building has to work behind the bar as well. This makes for some wait times during ordering, but they are usually pretty fast whenever you need something. The Happy Hour has plenty of things to choose from as the food menu provides 11 items and as you can tell the drink specials are numerous. In some cases you not saving all that much, but I appreciate El Patio for providing some different specials. If you are in the mood for some quick and inexpensive Mexican food in the Conway area then El Patio is as good of an option as any.
