I'm almost ashamed with myself that it took me over six years to finally do a review of Fosters Cafe and Bar. Fosters has been around for a long time and is one of the ultimate locals bars down here. I guess I just never felt the need to post it since I figured most locals already had their opinion of the place. The favorite thing about Fosters for me is the food, I don't know if it is because I'm usually buzzed when i go in there, but it has some of the best basic bar foods down here and to add to it 95% of the menu is less than $6.50. The Happy Hour is mainly highlighted by the varying daily specials. Fosters may seem a bit sketchy from the outside, but don't let that scare you away, it really is a great place to get a drink, be it early for Happy Hour or much later when the crowds really pick up.
