Some people may be familiar with the On The Half Shell location, as it used to be the former CB's Beach Club. Well it has a new name, with new owners, new menu , and a new Happy Hour. As you can tell by my ratings, On The Half Shell is a bar that doesn't stick out with anything spectacular, but on the flipside it doesn't have any weak spots. This probably means your are going to get the same consistent experience every time you stop by On The Half Shell. That is probably there was a large local crowd there when I stopped in. The bartenders are nice, the food is good and they have a nice big bar with friendly patrons. Altogether On the Half Shell is a solid new alternative if you're searching for a new bar in Murrells Inlet.
