It is hard to argue with how good the Happy Hour at The Island Bar in Surfside Beach. You can get great deals on pretty much the whole menu. The fact that it is good bar food just helps its status as one of the better bars on the south end. The drink specials are not all half off, but they are still pretty good since they are already starting from an already low regular price. I cannot remember the last time I went into Island Bar and it did not have a decent sized crowd. The very strong local base comes out for sporting events, since they have all the sports packages, not to mention the capacity crowds they get late at night when they have several bands coming through town. Island Bar has been one of the top places along the Grand Strand for Happy Hour for years now and you cannot go wrong anytime you want to make a visit.
