Review

The building where Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar now resides has housed some real shady and dumpy places in the past so my expectations were before heading there. Luckily, I was blown away right when I walked in the door as the space has been completely redone with absolutely no signs of the previously failed places. The bar and dining area look great as you have to go in and see for yourself to do it justice. Jerusalem Restaurant is one of the few (and maybe only) kosher dining places along the Grand Strand. I have a small familiarity with kosher food, but I am by no means an expert. I will say the food there is very good and you can sample some of those items at Happy Hour by getting the Jerusalem Platter. They are also the only place in town that has beers from Israeli distributor Malka. If are in search of a excellent kosher restaurant or if you want to try something new then Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant should be on the top of your list.
