Longbeards Bar & Grill is one of the rare success stories in the past few years of places that have opened up. It is hidden away behind the Food Lion off of the back end of Carolina Forest Blvd. I would suggest you make the effort in finding Longbeards if you haven't already as it has become a very popular spot for happy hour and late at night. It is a new building with a hunting lodge, log cabin feel to it. There is a large dining area, along with a long bar and outdoor seating for when spring and summer hit. The best part is that Happy Hour applies no matter where you sit. They have good specials, with dollar off on all liquors, and a nice draft selection. The food is really good and I'm a fan of the pork wings and also the huge portion of nachos that will take several people to polish off. There are numerous items discounted foodwise, so the selection all around is nothing to sneeze at. Also at Longbeards all the people are very welcoming from the bartender to the owner. This is a definite place I will be frequenting again, and I suggest you all check it out as well.
