Review

Murphy's Law downtown has been around Myrtle beach for countless years and it was one of the original bars I reviewed when i first started this website. Murphy's is no more though as it has a new owner and a new name called Ole Shillelagh Sports & Raw Bar, but many things still remain the same. The decor is still the same with old sports memorabilia throughout. There is a lot of planned construction to update the old building and you can already notice some of the changes to spruce up the space. The menu and happy hour have stayed the same for the most part, but there are great deals such as the $2 domestic drafts and the super low $2.50 house liquors. While the Ole Shillelagh may no longer be exactly like the former Pittsburgh crazy Murphy's it still is a good local sports bar that still holds some of the "charm" as the previous tenant.
