The Crafty Rooster is a locals bar in downtown Conway that is aimed at bringing in the Coastal Carolina crowd and they are doing a really good job of it so far especially late night on the weekends. Inside you'll find a decently sized placed with a big bar area. The line of sight on some of the TVs is a bit odd, but more TVs are on their way to alleviate that problem. The menu has a lot of the bar food staples, but they have nothing that is overpriced, plus you can get some cheap munchies during Happy Hour. The drink prices are good; and have plenty of selection; with the best deals being the $2 house and the $1.50 domestic drafts. The addition of some daily specials are big bonuses as well. The Crafty Rooster within walking distance from my work, so I'll never complain about that fact, but even if you don't live or work up in Conway and you're looking for a Chanticleer friendly bar, this going to be you're obvious new choice.
