Scotty's Beach Bar in Surfside Beach is a pretty straightforward beach bar with an awesome view of the ocean. It has a small covered deck where you can order from outside and a very small interior. That means that when there is live music or karaoke you had better get there early if you want a seat since it can fill up pretty quickly. The bar has a crowd that tends to be mostly older locals, but ot can get younger on at times as the night wears on. The Happy Hour specials are fairly basic on the selections of bottle or can beers, but the highlight is the daily deals and the entertainment that this place can bring in. There are not too many options for oceanfront bars in Surfside, but Scotty's Beach Bar will provide you with the one of the best laid back experiences.
