I have been to The Barrel, which is a locals bar that has been around for a very long time and the Happy Hour is getting better and better each time I stop by. It is a great place and as the owners and bartenders are always very friendly even if you are a regular or not. There are a few pool tables and a couple of TVs, but not nearly enough to make it a great sports bar, but still quite good. It is a place you can go and just sit back and relax and not worry about any "drama" or incidents throughout your visit. They have a ok selection of beers on tap and the drink specials are ok, but nothing spectacular for Happy Hour. The Barrel is your neighborhood bar and is one of the better spots to either start or stop your night depending on where you are going for the evening.
