Review

The next place I have up for a review has two locations along the Grand Strand, but is by no means a chain. The two Village Bar & Grill's are predominantly bars for locals. The older spot is in Myrtle Beach and located behind the Hooters on 38th Ave N. To say they keep the lights dimmed here is an understatement. It takes a good 5 minutes for your eyes to adjust, but once you come to the prices are cheap and the bartenders are always good so you can't complain in that department. The new location is at the back end of Carolina Forest in front of the Food Lion shopping center. Thankfully you can actually see when you walk into this location ad you're welcome with the same low prices and good bartenders. The Happy Hour specials vary just a little bit with the Carolina Forest having a few more options and also having its Happy Hour on the weekends. Both Village Bar & Grill locations are not the ideal tourist stop, but as a good local spot you can't complain with cheap food and drink plus good service.
